Promise: The Future of Stem Cell Research discusses the therapeutic potential of both adult and embryonic stem cells. It is aimed at a general audience.
Taped March 28, 2007, at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, the roundtable discussion features top U.S. experts discussing the scientific, economic, and ethical implications of stem cell research and answering questions from a live audience. Stem cells have become a focus of research efforts because of their potential to develop into any kind of cell in the human body.
